Business Card Quandary

I've been long overdue for a new business card for some time now. I went online to have a look at what artist's business cards are looking like these days. I wasn't amazed by anything ground breaking. I looked up sculptor's cards and was even less impressed. Of all of the cards that I'd looked at, make up artists seemed to have the jazziest layouts. So I went with a layout that slashes diagonally through a quarter of the central field or picture area. I laid out all of the type and information and then started to drop images behind them. Never being quite happy with one, I pulled up on the hand brake at 24. As a result of this mild mania, I now have 3 new card sheets. If I'm running low on cards, I can just print and trim a sheet or 2 and be out the door with a card case that sports numerous examples of my work. Maybe it sounds nuts. It's certainly more work but, I've never done a run of 500 or 1000 cards that I didn't get completely bored with before half were gone.
